Collection: Spirit Animals

Animal figures hold a settled place in Indian symbolism, and in Vastu each carries a particular meaning for the space it occupies.

What the forms represent. The tortoise stands for longevity, stability and protection. The horse for speed, perseverance and forward momentum. The bull for strength, determination and resilience. The elephant for wisdom, memory and good fortune. The tiger for courage and personal power. Birds and pairs such as swans are chosen for harmony in a home.

Materials. Each sculpture is hand-finished in marble dust and resin by our women artisans in Greater Noida, then hand-gilded or given a metallic finish. These are decorative pieces for homes, studies, offices and reception areas.

Placement. Vastu practice associates directions with particular animals; most pieces here suit a desk, console, shelf or entrance. Sizes range from compact desk figures to larger statement sculptures.
